The story behind MIX
Why we’re trying to build a new kind of agency

This week we’re officially launching MIX. An agency with a radical focus on value. Let’s zoom in on why we’re doing this.
Agencies tend to want one thing. Add value. It’s what clients expect. It’s what agencies want. But for the past two decades, agencies have been looking for value in really specific places. Digital, performance, search, social, video, content, purpose 🤢. Name a buzzword and there is an agency claiming the field.
Marcom can’t fix errors made earlier in the marketing chain.
As a result, marketing increasingly becomes solely marketing communications. The problem there is that marcom can’t fix errors made earlier in the marketing chain. If your service is badly designed, your campaign won’t save you. You can’t optimize your brand to greatness.
An approach focused on more than just the message
Lead agencies of the future aren’t specialized. They’re broadly oriented. Able to understand business, brand, and marketing and can add value wherever there’s a need. They’re able to help build propositions, streamline creative workflows and deliver behavioral insights. Sometimes eventually leading into a campaign. But more often leading to something else. A new proposition, a better product, a revamped customer service project.
In our view, that’s the agency of the future.

That’s why today, we’re launching MIX. An agency focused on one thing: adding value.
Filled and connected with multidisciplinary creative problem solvers. Strategists, creatives and creators that can define essential points within your existing value architecture and can build creative concepts and workflows that enrich those essential points. So, we’re here. And we’re looking forward to working with you.
